Hanukkah Schedule

Hanukkah begins at sundown this Sunday night, December 14th! 
Here’s a schedule of everything Hanukkah-related that’s happening in our community and beyond! Plus a list of resources for you and your family – our Hanukkah gift to you! Please note, every event has an in-person option, unless otherwise noted.

Sunday, December 14
10:30am Sandwich Making for Our Lady of Fatima (during Nefesh). Do a Hanukkah Mitzvah! (Synagogue School families start with Nefesh beginning at 9:30am!)
6pm RSNS Night ONE community-wide candle lighting on Zoom1 only.

Monday, December 15, 6pm
RSNS Night TWO community-wide candle lighting on Zoom1 only.

Tuesday, December 16
4:15pm Hanukkah Day at Synagogue School! 
6pm RSNS Night THREE community-wide candle lighting on Zoom1.

Wednesday, December 17, 6pm
Eli Bar-ON from MENA2050: Building Community Across Borders in the Middle East. We will begin with RSNS Night FOUR community-wide candle lighting on Zoom1. Register here.

Thursday, December 18, 6pm
RSNS Night FIVE community-wide candle lighting on Zoom1 only.

Friday, December 19 
9:20am Gan Shalom Hanukkah celebration (families invited)!
5pm Synagogue School (Nefesh), with challah-making at 6pm
6:30pm Family Shabbat and Hanukkah Services! In-person and on  Zoom1

Saturday, December 20, 6pm
RSNS Night SEVEN community-wide candle lighting on Zoom1 only.

Sunday, December 21
10:30am Hanukkah celebration at Oh My Goodness Kids (301 Main St in Port) with Cantor Eric and Morah Adrienne! Get your tickets here
6pm RSNS Night EIGHT community-wide candle lighting on Zoom1 only.
