The Current Food Insecurity Crisis Resources

With the government shutdown, many federal employees are already working without pay, and beginning Saturday, November 1st, all residents who receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits will be severely impacted as well. If SNAP benefits are stopped, our local emergency food providers are going to see an increase in families seeking help. Combatting food insecurity on a local level has always been a priority at RSNS, and we’ve compiled a list of resources to help anyone in our community who finds themselves in a position of need, or a position to give. We will also publish this on our website and link to it as a reference moving forward.

We are here to help each other, and those in our community!
