Many of us grew up attending synagogues where the Kol Nidre service included a fundraising appeal. One of the things that deeply moved us about RSNS is its commitment to preserving this sacred moment for reflection, prayer, and introspection, allowing the focus to remain on the spiritual significance of the day.
At the same time, like every vibrant community, RSNS has financial needs that extend beyond what membership dues alone can provide. The meaningful programs we offer, the traditions we celebrate, the education we nurture, and the welcoming home we create together all rely on the generosity and support of our community.
Rather than asking during Kol Nidre, we choose to raise these additional funds in ways that are joyful, engaging, and that strengthen our connections with one another.
