Family programs are open to all congregants. Check the Shaliyah for updated information. Family ServiceThe first Friday of every month is set aside for a Family Service beginning at 7:30 PM. All families are invited to attend. Each Synagogue School grade will learn key prayers of the Friday night service and help lead a Family service with the help of their parents.Back to top ByahadThe Byahad program is an ongoing Saturday morning family service and education experience. All families are encouraged to attend every Byahad session. Individual classes will play an instrumental role on specific dates. Services begin at 9:45 a.m. Byahad will act as a reinforcement of our Synagogue School's prayer program.Back to top Bagels on the BimaBagels on the Bima, is a pre-school family program of Jewish songs, stories, crafts and food. Please see our Synagogue Calendar to find out when this program will meet next. Whether you are new to the congregation or have been with us for years, please take this opportunity to bring your young children or grandchildren, ages 0-5, to this innovative, exciting Shabbat program. We begin with a brief service set to music followed by a hands-on holiday activity for the children, led by Lauren Pulver. Simultaneously, the adults engage in a text study bridging Jewish values and holidays. |
